For greater implant success, one should always try to maximize SUPPORT & minimize LOAD especially during the initial healing stages.
The degree of support from any implant is dependent upon the Surface Area of the Bone Implant Interface.
COMPARE the difference between the other guy’s 3 mm implant and a 3 mm SIMPLI™.
1. Threads per Inch: Note the number of threads per inch; 15 threads per inch with the SIMPLI™ as opposed to 11 per inch for a typical conventional implant. This equates to 40% more surface area with SIMPLI™ Threads.
2. Thread Area Compared to Core Area: Note the amount of thread area compared to the core area; the core of the SIMPLI™ remains relatively narrow allowing more room for the thread surface. The SIMPLI ™ design gives at least 50% more thread/core ratio than most implants. This percentage increases even more, up to 150% when you use larger diameter implants.

3. The 240 cutting edge of the threads cuts into bone with greater efficiency than broader, less acute cutting edges. This sharpness allows the osteotomy site to be narrower necessitating the use of fewer drills with less bone removal minimizing trauma to the bone and the patient.
4. The narrower core diameter allows you to use a smaller diameter drill reducing the amount of bone removal decreasing the trauma to the patient.
